Dr. McGee Leonard is a boardcertified specialist in veterinary emergency and critical care medicine with 10 years of professional experience. As an expert at Robson Forensic, she investigates veterinary malpractice, animal bites, abuse and neglect, opioid prescription issues, and other animal-related disputes.

She has experience performing behavioral assessments on cats and dogs, and training veterinary staff in handling, behavior, and safe restraint. Her background includes trauma cases, chronic illness, and small animal general practice across internal medicine, anesthesia, surgery, nutrition, and dentistry.

Dr. Leonard earned her B.S. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA and her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences. She is licensed in California, holds a DEA license (Schedule II), and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care (DACVECC).
