Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital is here to provide the Los Angeles community with experienced, compassionate, and quality emergency and specialty veterinary medicine, while still providing compassionate and outstanding customer service. At MASH, we aim to provide the top of the line veterinary care for every animal and client that comes through our doors. We treat every patient with care and respect as if they were our own. The team at MASH knows that their job is to support our clients and ease the burden of dealing with illnesses or medical issues their pets may have.

About Mash

MASH was started by a group of veterinary professionals who felt that the specialty and emergency veterinary needs in the Los Angeles area were not being met. It was then that Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital was born. MASH is proud to offer a superior quality of veterinary Surgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care, Dermatology, Nutrition, Cardiology, Neurology, and Ophthalmology, along with an experienced and compassionate Customer Service Team. MASH also provides Dentistry, specifically focused on craniomaxillofacial trauma.

MASH is a brand-new facility with state-of-the-art equipment including a 16-slice Siemens Sensations CT Scanner, and GE OEC9800 fluoroscopy (real-time x-ray) unit, and the most advanced Storz internal medicine and surgical tower. When you’re in need of an emergency vet, know that we are open 365 days a year, 24/7 for emergencies, and have our very own ICU for critically ill patients. Patients are constantly monitored by both veterinarians and veterinary staff devoted to providing the highest quality of care.
