For Pet Owners

The Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) located at 6565 Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles will permanently close effective June 22, 2025. This includes all buildings and services provided at the Santa Monica Boulevard site and its administrative offices on North Hudson Avenue.
“This decision was incredibly difficult,” said Dr. Lisa Weeth, Medical Director. “For years, we’ve had the honor of helping pets and the people who love them during life’s most critical moments. We are so proud of the care we’ve provided and deeply grateful to have been part of every pet’s journey.”
MASH will remain open and committed to providing emergency and specialty care through June 22. Medical records will be available by request via [email protected]. MASH will work with nearby hospitals to support continuity of care.
Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital has operated as a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital since 2017. MASH offers veterinary surgery, internal medicine, emergency and critical care, dermatology, ophthalmology, neurology, acupuncture, oncology, nutrition and dental services.
