Rose Dicovitsky
Dr. Rose Dicovitsky grew up in southern California and earned a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where she also played division I volleyball. She received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and performed a rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. She completed her residency in medical oncology at the University of Minnesota and became board certified. Dr. Dicovitsky is thrilled to return to Los Angeles to join MASH’s team!
Her favorite part of this specialty is the ability to form relationships with pets and their families. From personal experience, she knows that a cancer diagnosis in a pet can be very emotional. Navigating this situation requires a trusting relationship between the family and oncologist - she looks forward to forming this partnership with more families in Los Angeles. Her goals are to provide families more time with their beloved bet, but most importantly, to provide a good quality of life for as long as possible. Outside of work, she likes to bake, try new restaurants, watch sports, and stay active with hikes and spin classes. Most importantly, she loves to spend time with her friends, family, and adorable (but needy) husky mix, Maple.
